FAU on-campus football stadium status: going strong!

Well, it's a little over a week away before the Board of Governors officially votes for the creation of this project which has been in it's planning stages for quite a few years now. Here's a blog entry I came across regarding the new theme and final planning touches, with pictures included. It should be quite the addition to my school! Check it out:

Innovation Village is to include the football stadium, new student housing (doubling that already on campus), an outdoor shopping/food mall, a couple bars, and other progressive campus-life features. Maybe even a club.... there's been some talk about this going around.

There are plenty of people who think it's a great use of public money because it puts people to work. IMHO, public works projects shouldn't be based on whether we are in a recession, but should be based on a wise use of tax dollars.
