The Angels and Vladimir Guerrero have come to terms on a contract extension over another 5 years starting in 2010. The money hasn't been revealed just yet. Stay tuned......

Assuming there's any truth to the fact that there are ongoing discussions on this:

Paying Vladimir Guerrero from age 34 through age 39, at big bucks, when his big bod is already breaking down, is crazy stuff.

I don't see why they couldn't wait until the end of 2009. Are you telling me that there won't be someone else available by then, a decade younger or not, who can be their DH?

I mean, Bonds might be out of jail by then, and will work cheap
