Presenting your Division I championship games. All times Central:

Saturday
FCS: North Dakota State vs. South Dakota State (at Frisco, Texas), 1 pm ABC

Monday
FBS: No. 1 Georgia (-13) vs. No. 3 TCU (at Inglewood, Calif.), 6:30 pm ESPN

Damn, can't they just move the game to the closest border town with a decent football stadium? :)

I wonder how that playoff game would have played out if TCU had deserved to be there.

With Harbaugh unwilling to say out loud that he is staying at Michigan, I bet that Matt Ruhle and Luke Fickell have a few regrets.

US Bank Stadium isn't even booked that day. (Vikings are on the road.) That said, the attendance would probably be low, what with all the Dakotans who won't go to Minneapolis anymore because of all the crime.

SDSU-NDSU men's hoops play on Thursday in Fargo. Wonder how many Bison and Jack fans will be on I-29 South by then.

After watching some of the I-AA playoffs in cooler places, it's a shame that North Dakota State and South Dakota State decided their championship in ... Frisco, Texas.

It's like watching the Buffalo Bills and Green Bay Packers play in a place where there isn't tons of snow shoveled to the stadium walls at this point of the season.

Kind of sad that they couldn't play the national championship tonight. No need for 10 days between games.

Talk with the WWL. If the WWL tells them to play at 0300 in the middle of some crop field, they do it. Too much money at stake.

Surprisingly, Joe Goodman actually covered an event in person.
Unsurprisingly, he botched the identification.
Least surprising, he is acting like this isn’t now within the rules and being pursued by every D-I school except maybe the service academies.

I cannot stress enough what a horse**** excuse for a journalist he is.

He's a bomb thrower. He loves to put some item in an article that he knows will get the fan base torqued up.

Someone needs to tell this Jag off (Hi, Cosmo!) that the Playoff Committee banned tailgating, just like it did the previous two years. It's not an LA thing, fool.
