Supposedly Beck is going to Miami. He just had TJ surgery in January. No way can he be ready by September, right? never heard of a pitcher coming back in nine months.
Which begs 2 questions: 1) Did John Ruiz commit to paying him for two years? 2) What is the status of the SEC’s (no, not that one) investigation into LifeWallet? Only 4 months ago, the company wrote in a preliminary report that there was a decent chance it doesn’t have long to survive.

LSU wide receiver Kyren Lacy is wanted on charges of negligent homicide and felony hit-and-run following a December traffic crash that killed one person and injured two others.
Lacy was LSU's top receiver this season and has declared for the NFL draft.

Another story noted he declared for the NFL draft two days after the wreck.

He went to Miami because he's dating a Cavinder twin

Favre's kid committed to Fresno State. Red Wavers, open future mails carefully and account for every penny going to football.

The NCAA issued a statement Friday saying that "NCAA rules do not prevent a student-athlete from unenrolling from an institution, enrolling at a new institution and competing immediately."

Unless I've missed it, how long before a player leaves a school-team after the second or third game and enrolls at another one and begins playing? I haven't kept up with every subsection bylaw reg, though, so perhaps that's not permitted during a season.

But I'd guess an attorney could say the NCAA's statement doesn't have any qualifers, so his player-client would be able to leave Big Tech and move over to State U to begin playing immediately. The only hangup would be, perhaps, the university's semester enrollment deadline dates.

The tricky part is getting accepted by a new school mid-semester. Ah hell, who am I kidding? Any jock worth their salt will be welcomed with open arms.
