There's your winner right there. It's a time-honored guy tradition.
Uh, that backfires.

waterytart said:GBNF, is this the same woman who inspired your thread about serendipity? If so, she probably picked up on your initial giddiness, and that's why she allowed herself to be that openly "into you' so early on. If that's the case, I say do it in person.

Just call her and be honest.

It's funny. I was just thinking the same thing. Geez, how do you go from it's fated, she's my soulmate to well it's over after four dates. That's gotta be tough for her. But I'd probably do the phone thing though.

Either she'll freak and do the breaking up for you, or she won't, and you'll want to reconsider.
Win-win.

That's how I found out for sure that my marriage was over.
I'm not kidding.
I can and do laugh about it now, though......I actually wish I had thought of it. :D
Wow. I can't believe someone would do that. Holy ****, man. Glad you have a good sense of humor about it. I certainly wouldn't.

Um. yeah. Don't text her, e-mail her, IM her or do it any other way than on the phone. She deserves at least that courtesy. All women do.
Who text beakups with someone?

Oh yeah, my girlfriend of two years did that to me last year. Hooray for cold-hard bitchery.

Yeah, I'm not going to lie, I certainly overreacted too fast. But things just went incredibly downhill last night, and I know it's not what I want. Oh well.

Does she know that everything went incredibly downhill last night? Because, then, you'd be OK with just a phone call but, since she goes to the same shul as your family, make sure it's civil enough to keep her from bad-mouthing you to family friends.
