Although, for some reason, I'm taking Mays the hardest because he was at the "prime" of his career, unlike McMahon, Fawcett and Jackson. Only 50. (Sorry, MJ's 50 was probably most humans' equivalents of about 117).

I may be wrong but Billy Mays actually seemed like a decent guy who was appreciative and even thankful for what his sales abilities led to for professional success.

Billy Mays' death is probably the most tragic of the 4. I'm sure he worked his entire life to reach this point.....and just as he gets there, he's dead.

Who else? TMZ. They've supposedly backed off from that claim.
Heard on the news this morning a few other passengers complained of bumps and bruises to the rescue personnel on the tarmac, but none serious enough to be hospitalized. Beware of other subdural hematomas, though.
The coroner will put out a statement this afternoon, but no presser. He's no Noguchi, thank God.

It appears there was significant heart disease caused by cholesterol.

He also was on pain medication and scheduled for a hip replacement today, but the coroner said there was no evidence of abuse of those pain pills, including the fact that the remaining pills in the bottle figured out to right what the number should be.

Also, they played the 911 call on FNC. They believe it was his wife's voice. Very sad. The operator was trying to talk her through beginning CPR but it was obvious he was long dead. She said his lips were purple and he was cold.

The guy appeared to be a pretty big dude when I saw him in those clips. I wonder if the plane ride itself (or all the travel) exacerbated the situation (the blood clots in the leg thing) or what would have happened if the planned surgery had gone through.

Too bad. Some people in the voice over industry say he was a really great guy.
