Whoever played the theramin in Good Vibrations gets my vote, followed by the one who played it in all those horror movies.
 
Anyone ever see the Theramin movie that was out in the mid 90s? Pretty good flick.

And Dools, you might find this interesting, but I guess theramin cognescenti don't think Good Vibrations is a "true" theramin song, because it used a modified version of it called a tannerin. The distinction being that a theramin is played by moving hands in the air in the electro-field (or whatever it's called) whereas a tannerin is played with a slide on a scale (as seen in the video for the song).

Whatever. It's still a good song.

The distinctive "woo woo" sound in the choruses and at the end of the record was created with an electro-theremin, played by Paul Tanner. First used by Wilson on the track "I Just Wasn't Made for These Times", the device effectively creates a sonic representation of those mysterious vibrations of the title.
