80's Music Fans

With Spotify I can easily rediscover old music so I got on an 80's kick and made a playlist with ......Kenny G...

Anyone else want to admit to doing the same?

I think the 70s were far superior to the 80s when it came to music. Not just the quality, but the breadth. When I think of the 80s I think of shiny, metallic corporate synth BS. The good stuff probably just stands out more because of its surroundings.

Sirius 80s on 8 doesn't go anywhere near deep enough. When you hear the "Big 40 Countdown" a couple times a week you realize how much stuff is ignored during regular programming.

Sirius 80s on 8 doesn't go anywhere near deep enough. When you hear the "Big 40 Countdown" a couple times a week you realize how much stuff is ignored during regular programming.

It's almost entirely because of nostalgia but I enjoy that station. I realize a lot of what I'm listening to sucks, but I don't care. I like the transportation.

Oh I enjoy the 70's too (Afternoon Delight, Carpenters, Elton John, one hit wonders like Paper Lace, Ozark Blue Mountain Daredevils.)

With Kenny G, I'm taking more of his early stuff (G Force) rather than Songbird, although saw a summer concert at the Greek Theater in Berkeley with Michael Bolton opening for Kenny G, great time, beautiful weather, beautiful venue, and definitely a plus with the date that night.

Love Spotify. We run it thru the SONOS system with built in speakers in our house and it is freaking amazing.

Can surf on my phone and find any music that sounds great in the house.
