My hot takes;

— it’s always cool when you can put someone like 1950s Hank Aaron at second or use 1930s Jimmie Foxx at catcher or 1980s Howard Johnson at short. It’s like a free spin.

— it’s maddening when you are down to your last spin and you get a 1969 expansion team. I had a squad I felt was close to 162-0 and pulled the 1960s Padres.

— for me, batting average always seems to ruin my perfect team. I’ll be 100 percent across the board, but at 97 or 98 for batting average.
