Broken pinky tie for Francisco Lindor after taking a pitch off the foot last night. That's a bummer, but doens't sound like he'll miss much time at this point.

In the past, I'd be skeptical and assume his foot would be amputated by sunrise.

Isaiah was closing negotiations to buy the Twins and the White Sox offered to keep him around, selling him more. This must be the final piece of the puzzle.

The Pirates should've been alarmed the second Cleveland wanted to trade for Luis Ortiz. They've appeared to have undone all the bad habits and molded his arsenal. He shut out the Yankees for five-plus and looks like the real deal.

Cleveland is not as good as last year, but a short series with Bieber, Bibee and Ortiz is way better than what they trotted out there last October.

Fire Garbage GIF

Just flipped on the O’s-Ms game … and was pleasantly surprised to see Baltimore pitch to a red-hot Cal Raleigh.

Tied at 1 in the fifth, man on third with two outs, a struggling Randy Arozarena hitting behind him … and the Orioles pitcher hangs a breaking ball, which Raleigh skies out to right field for his league-leading 24th HR. M’s up 3-1.

So much for that … Baltimore retakes the lead on back to back jacks by Rutschman and Henderson.

Their strategy worked perfectly!

If trading Ortiz saved them $100, they didn't care.

I was listening to the Braves game, they were up 9-3, then went to lunch, OMFG. No better name that Blewett for the reliever.

Adley has seven hits and two homers in this series. Maybe he's coming out of his funk. Hope so, great kid. Maybe he just needed to get back to the PNW.

I know nothing about the White Sox ownership. But having Reinsdorf out of baseball can only be a good thing. The guy set player-owner relations back to the stone age. Gussie Busch too. ****ing neanderthals.

Orioles broadcast notes those were the shortest home runs in Raleigh’s and Rutschman’s respective careers. Also, hat tip to shorty for his Gunnar callout. Six in a row and two straight sweeps will help.

The Angels lost to the Red Sox yesterday on a walkoff blast that traveled 305 feet.
