You are correct, but Hunt still has a shot to lead the league in rushing. He is currently second, only 21 yards behind Bell. The moment Patriots-Jets gets out of hand, I expect Bell to be out of the Steelers' game against the Browns. Sure, Gurley could blow past them all, but if Hunt does end up leading the league in rushing, that could be enough to get him ROY.

I'm not saying he is the better player. Kamara has about 20 more receptions and he averages 6.2 yards per carry. He has fewer rushing yards than Hunt because he lost carries early in the season to Peterson and continues to share with Ingram. But the rushing title might carry some weight for Hunt.

By the way, that Saints running game is amazing. Ingram is over 1,000 yards and averaging 5.0 per carry and Kamara has 684 yards on only 111 carries.

Most people suffer from recency bias so he'll probably win it. Especially since Kamara has slowed a bit lately. Interesting related question: Which would you rather have moving forward? I'll take Kamara and his all-around game. Hunt can be a good pass-catcher but Kamara is electric in the open field.

Tough call. Hunt has proven he can be an every-down back. Kamara hasn't shown what he can do when he isn't sharing the load yet. I would also lean to Kamara, but it's close because I think you need another solid back to pair with him.

In Hunt's defense, he wasn't slumping alone. The entire Kansas City offense struggled. They had problems up front, which left him little room to run and teams figured out some of what Reid was doing to them early.

It's a quarterback league so my guess is Brady wins this. However, I hope Gurley gets strong consideration. Goff has played well all year but McVay built his offense around Gurley from the start. Without his career year, the Rams aren't in the playoffs.

Keenum, is a one-season wonder, who's done a great job for the Vikings. ... I give Frazier the nod for COY based on Keenum and Vikings. McVay essentially inherited the same team Fisher had last year, and yeah, he's gotten superior results. Frazier, again, had to juggle QBs, and managed a pretty good offense with a lot of lesser-known talents.

I like Hunt but I think his ceiling is more limited than Kamara's. Good point by oop, though (dirty feeling) as to whether Kamara can handle large workload. Kamara is definitely more fun to watch.

Coaching is another reason Wilson should be at the top of the list. It's hard putting up those numbers for a Chuck Knox coached team.
