Even with Durant and two others out, what the Warriors did to the Blazers tonight was downright ugly.

Portland is in such need of players beyond Lillard and McCollum. Good news is they have three first round picks.

I admittedly haven't followed closely, but could someone give a brief synopsis of what the **** happened to Dwight Howard?

According to the rumors, an obsession with becoming a back-to-the-basket post-up player at various teams when the entire rest of basketball was going away from that, followed by sulking when he didn't get the ball, plus diminished athleticism in general from his back injuries.

Dwight might've been a little better if he hadn't eaten 5,500 calories worth of sugar every day for much of his career, too.

You really think that would make a difference? Some people can eat whatever and be in shape. Could see that making a difference if he looked like Glen Davis, but not sure what a good diet would do for Howard.

edit: Forgot about how much sugar he did eat. Although he never looked out of shape, guess it did affect his health.

Nah, I just like to reiterate that that's a thing that happened: Dwight Howard is built like a Greek God, plays in the NBA and ate 24 candy bars a day. Most of us mere mortals would have our own TLC reality show about surviving as a 500-pound person if we ate like that. It's just amazing to me. It shows just how many calories athletes burn on a daily basis.

Also, genetics aren't fair.

He's got so many tools he can average 17 and 13 without barely lifting a finger.

But he only played 19 minutes last night. In Game 1, he was -21 in 30 minutes.

What LeBron is doing in the second half tonight is just crazy.

Largest comeback in NBA playoff history. Guess they can turn it on at will.
