Wasn't sold to me, sadly. I could use the jing.
Just saw the race on tape. Wow. Great stuff.
Is she horse of the year over Rachel Alexandra?

Zenyatta still is unbeaten and beat the best horses in the world. Rachel Alexandra won a TC race and beat males twice (or was it three times?). Either way, I'm OK if someone wants to give their Horse of the Year vote to Zenyatta, or split it between the two. Giving it to Rachel on her own seems to have the least merit, to me.

Still waiting for 'Alexandra to show up to the Breeders' Cup.

Still waiting for BC to be run over a genuine surface, after two years of bull****. Churchill, '10, here we come.

Every favorite that got beat yesterday that I saw had the exact same thing happen, got stuck in traffic, had to go way wide, and couldn't make up the ground. Happened to Zenyatta and she won driving anyway. I don't know about Horse of the Year, but she won my Race of the Year award. What a performance. And that's after a spooky restart, too.

She's the Pro-Ride Horse of the Year, anyway.

Rachel Alexandra won five Grade 1s this year and beat males three times, but she'll get hosed in HotY voting because she skipped the BC.
