I know it's a different team ... I know they had their own line on the Canadian team in Vancouver ... but I also know their history, so seeing virtually everyone pick the Sharks is scaring the heck out of me!

Yep. Pens played the same type game they've been playing for a few weeks now. And while I was hoping they'd figure something out once the playoffs started, if they keep this up they'll be toast long before the Capitals can get their hands on them.

I have them winning the first, but not much more. They have a lot to prove in that round if they are going to get much support even for the second round.

At least for their sake the Coyotes bounced back quickly.

Yes, it was a tradition that carried over. They also did in back in 2002 and whenever else they were in the playoffs way back there. I know, not the same effect, but still. They aren't the only ones who do that. Pittsburgh does and maybe others.

My thought WFW as soon as Canada won the gold. We know now they can produce in a big game, so the litany of excuses they've cited chapter and verse after being KO'ed the last four years won't cut it any more.

Either that, or the Sharks should sell an add on the dasherboards to PetSmart, to make it easier for them to model the newest choke chains, year after year?
