Rumours that Trump Bedminster will lose the 2022 PGA. I would think they would want to announce the new venue at the same time.
Valhalla seems dependent on the PGA for its profile. I could see it being the choice.
Jesus, that one hit all the notes.
Well, considering the PGA owns Valhalla, that’s probably accurate.
Jesus, that one hit all the notes.
Local PGA chapters have big role in tournament planning administration, recruitment of volunteers, etc.Probably. Oak Hill ('23) and Baltusrol ('29) are in the pipeline. I can certainly see that, though I don't know if they gain or lose anything by moving it 100 miles or 1000 miles.
Wouldn't the path of least resistance just be to move it over to Baltusrol or Liberty National or Bethpage?
Alan is likely as plugged in as anyone.
I don’t get the delay.
Has Shoal Creek solved its blatantly racist issues? They should be lumped in with the Tangerine Tantrum's courses and clubs until they do and can prove so.
OK, all good ... but has the club solved its racial issue?
(Not trying to either troll or antagonize ... just because they hosted doesn't mean the problem is solved. See also: Augusta National long after they were called out for being blatantly discriminatory.)
