I really hope this isn't just me ...

I can't for the life of me type the word "an" correctly on the first try. It always ends up as "and." Likewise, words that end in "-tion" the majority of the time start out as "-tino".

What words do you all have difficulty typing without slowing down?

When thumb-typing on my iPhone I hit "n" instead of the space bar about 50 percent of the time.

For as long as I can remember, a large percentage of the time I try to type "Williams" it comes out "Willimas."

Teh

I also can't spell sheriff or convenience without looking them up.

Int he instead of "in the"

Seahawks gives me fits, too. That middle part with the "aha" gets me into a left-right-left rhythm, then there's two left hand strokes with the "aw" and I end up typing "Seahakws" unless I remember to slow down for a second.

I screw up "by" and "my" while typing, and when growing up, I did it while writing. I think it is a dyslexic thing since I was screwing that up long before learning how to type.

Spellcheck kills me when abbreviating one of our local schools. IHS automatically becomes HIS.

I can't tell you how many running backs I've written about that have rushed for 100 years instead of yards.

Brain sted Brian. Did that one about 10 minutes ago.
And my worst is Atlanta Barves. Do that ALL the time. Maybe because I'm a Mets fan. :)

My brother-in law-isn't named Christ, but I add a "t"

"fort he" sted "for the" and "type" when I'm trying to write "typo."

And although I spell "transnational" correctly every time, it always looks like there's a typo. That's a weird word. (And yeah, in my job I use it frequently.)

Go Barves!

Indeed. And glad you cleared that first point up, because I'm almost positive I have NEVER used that word.

Wasn't even thinking about the phone when I started this. The m being right next to delete on the screen causes me all manner of grief.

Add me to the list of those who often type "teh."

I used to get type "lead" when I meant to type "led." Not for long, but it drove me nuts until I got that out of my system.
