Yeah, like I really want to hear about you assholes having sex ...

What was your first post on SJ? Mine was backing up a writer who was vouching for the win-soaked writing coach we had at my first shop. Figures a guy who goes out of his way to create a nickname that says "you don't know who I am" goes and starts dropping Hummer-sized clues about his identity from the word go.

I have no idea what mine was. Probably something inane...that's not really a hard guess to make.

Your first post was:

Great pate, mom, but we gotta motor if we're going to get to the funeral.

I can't remember, but I do know that after the first couple posts I ever made on a thread, one of the veterans (can't remember who) PM'd me to suggest I was a veteran using a new handle to argue my point. Funny since it took me a week to figure out how to register in the first place.

Mine was about a job I was interested in, but didn't get. Oh well.....

I called Smasher a dickhead. I feel bad about it now.

Shockingly, my first post was defending ARod on a baseball thread.

I think it was in response to something stupid Dyepack said about design. His ripping a designer friend of mine on here was the reason I joined to begin with, but to be honest I'm not sure what the first post was.

You'd think I would remember since it's only been six months, but when you average 600 posts a month things get a little foggy.

It was my freshman year of college - I was begged to do it, and I was scared ****less.

That answers both of your questions, Meat.

I'm pretty sure I started off with an obscure argument about college hockey.

It's been all downhill since then...

There's a way to check by clicking on your name and clicking on "show last posts" then going to the last page.

Depends on how long you've been here. My last post on there is from Sept. 2003. I was here before that. My first post archived on there is some post tempting BYH with lots of Mountain Dew because he was trying to quit.

God, what a great friend I am!

I wondered when people would realize that.

I wonder how many pages of posts someone like BYH has? Mine is 228 pages long.

Again, that only works if you weren't here before the big board meltdowns that cost all of us posts.

Mine doesn't go all the way back. Most don't.

It's supposed to be the other way around. You tempt me to do something by offering me Mountain Dew.

:D
