This came to mind based on the cottage cheese jack on the Nashville thread. (Not that cottage cheese is considered disgusting, just in my eyes.)

Pub cheese and crackers (Wheat Thins) here. A regional restaurant chain up here used to give it to you when you sat down at the bar. I know the cheese is a half-step up from spray cheese, but that's what makes it so great/horrible.

Edit: Meant to throw this in anything goes, but I was eating some pub cheese and crackers and got distracted.

Pub cheese and crackers are not disgusting.

I like to butter saltines and eat them.

Not sure if it is disgusting, but I like to slice up cheese and drink it with orange juice as a snack. I also like to some real string cheese, put some spicy mustard on it and down it with straight whiskey.

I used to work with a woman whose husband would pour some Frosted Flakes on ice cream, pour syrup on it and then heat it up in a microwave for about 10 seconds. I tried it myself one time and almost went into a diabetic coma.

I mean, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure...

Velveeta “cheese” is one thing that is really is nasty when you think about it. Add it to canned hot dog chili, and you have something majestic.

And dill pickle chips.

Oh, Chicken in a biscuit crackers. Is that what they are called?

DIY fried ice cream.

It's not disgusting at all, but a raw potato has been a go-to snack my entire life. Peel it. Slice it. Hit it with some salt. Crunch. The kicker is a side of buttered wheat bread.

Pickled eggs (spicy) are a staple of the local bar scene where I worked for 7 1/2 years. I used to think they were disgusting but now I make them myself and have some on hand more often than not.

Gives me hiccups, always has. (the potato thing)

I love pickled eggs. I make mine with beet juice.
I've got an awesome pickled hotdog recipe.
Dang, I'm hungry.

Some of the Hispanic kids I hung with in Lubbock used to eat that.

Cheap LaChoy egg rolls and frozen Mexican dinners are the worst things I would eat if they still made them. Probably a good thing I make my own, healthier versions that other people seem to like.

Not really a snack but on the Cantonese Village menu there's a steamed pork patty with preserved salted fish on top; fantastic with rice. [Wifey can't stand smell or even thought of it.]

So my daughter showed me this...

take two Ruffles plain potato chips and one large marshmallow. Microwave them for 10 seconds. Eat like a mini sandwich.

You will not be disappointed.

More of a side than a snack ... and my wife is grossed out ... but I eat spaghetti and meatballs with peanut butter on bread instead of garlic bread.

Hm, I am actually going to try this! Only, with the Sour Cream and Cheddar Ruffles...:)
