anybody know what the process is for this one?

Just a stab in the dark, but:

1. You put together a cover letter, resume and work samples if they ask for it.
2. You send your stuff to the address specified, or you apply online where it says.
3. You wait for a reply back from a hiring manager
4. If no reply from hiring manager, go back to No. 1 and start the process all over again for another job.

Solid.

This one says Atlanta, but the description talks about working from a remote location. Anybody know if they're asking you to live in Atlanta or is this is work-from-wherever gig?

I doubt they want a work from wherever gig, because they want you to attend special events, etc. Just seems like for a position like this you would be working in Atlanta, or a Turner office in another big city.

Aren't they still looking for a managing editor? It would seem they would probably wait until after the finals for all jobs anyway.

They probably also want to go on vacation this summer, so I'd expect some movement on this sooner than later.

A friend of mine has a similar gig at one of Turner's other digital sites and they asked him to move to Atlanta. He was there for two years before eventually moving back home, keeping the same job. I imagine this would be the same situation, though I'm not sure. I think they want to get the applicant integrated on their turf before it becomes a remote gig.
