Pilot episode is on WGN right now. First of four straight episodes.

"Oh, the humanity! The turkeys are hitting the ground like sacks of wet cement! The crowd is running for their lives. Not since the Hindenberg tragedy has there been something like this."

22 first-season episodes, probably the whole season, are available on-demand at www.hulu.com

But it's only worth it if the original music is included

Watched this tonight. haha. Great stuff!

"As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!"

It was never really explained why they did an episode where they re-did the goings-on of the first show in season two or three with the "new" Mother Carlson. I still think Venus Rising is a better name for Gordon Sims. But I learned more about the atom from that guy than any teacher I had in high school.

The original Mama Carlson, Sylvia Sidney, had theatre commitments and Carol Bruce took over late in the first season and kept the job. So when they did those retro episodes in future seasons, they had to redo the parts of the pilot with Sidney.

I know my WKRP :) (see sig)

"Les, Pete Rose played third base"
"Les, Pete Rose played first base"
"Les, Pete Rose played right field"

Time for season 2 to come out on DVD.
I didn't realize they were on until 9:30 so I got to see the last one where Mama Carlson was going to turn WKRP into all news because she didn't want the station to get too successful.
The scene where Dr. Fever comes to her house is priceless.
"Madam, your physician is here to see you."
Give me a day of WKRP, Lou Grant and White Shadow and I am a very happy man.

"I do the sports news, Mr. Fly Trap. I don't know if you've noticed, but there certainly are a lot of Negroes in sports."

Back on WGN right now. Not sure if it's the turkey episode but they just showed the pilot again.

I get WKRP each Monday at 10 pm, on one of those little weird cable stations, this one being "American Life".

In fact, Monday is great starting with Combat at 7pm, followed by Mission Impossible, Mary Tyler Moore, Newhart, WKRP, and then Bob Newhart. Then, they start to rerun these reruns.

Sunday has quite a lineup also.
