Since the Hollywood moonbats are declaring a hunger strike for peace today, I'm grilling for victory. Ballpark franks, Johnsonville brats, corn on the cob ... and S'mores.

And you?

Sorry for you, Doc.

If you were close enough, I'd run down with some marinated pork chops, homemade coleslaw and steamed, freshly picked sweet corn. I'd even throw in some sun teas, steeped with fresh-picked mint.

Sorry, Bud.

Appreciate the good will, guys. But I'll take the time-and-a-half and the extra vacation day, which I'm using next week to spend 10 days in Chicago.

Pro peace AND pro grill.

Believe it or not, the two aren't mutually exclusive.

And I don't consider Hollywood "moonbats" the representatives of the Democratic party. I consider the union guys putting in 40 years of hard labor the true representatives.

So save the cheapshots on this of all days, please, Captain America.

I feel like the world's biggest vagina because I had to ask the guy at the market how to make ribs ... I tuned out of his answer after a minute and a half so I'm just grilling us some steaks and hoping they turn out halfway decent. Oh, and corn and baked potatoes, too!

HEBREW NAtional Dinner Franks and hamburgers, grilled vidallia onions and grilled local corn on the cob. iced Yuengling, iced tea and lemonade.
Apple and Blue Berry Pie for desert with French Vanilla ice cream (A personal Thanks to Louis and Lafeyette)

I was over at an area Little League ballpark for a district tournament, and they did the grilling for me.

A couple of cheeseburgers that were about as good as anything I've had in awhile.

Just got home from vacation a half-hour ago. Relaxing with the WCup on TV, no grill, but a St. Paulis Girl in my hand. Fireworks later. Good times. ;D

Whatever you're grilling, don't invite westcoastvol.

Yeah, but unlike some soccer players, he's a good finisher. :-X ;D

To answer the thread question, I'm working as well. Luckily, someone else in the dept. threw me an invite to grab some grub before my baseball game (which now has almost no drama ... it would've until they hit the skids the last couple of days).

Like Chi, my Fourth of July is being applied to some off time next week. Something about some gig in Toronto. ;)
