Thanks, mike, I needed that. I'd like to forget '08.

If it makes you feel any better, it's 20 minutes later, and I don't remember typing that.

I do love you, Beaks. (I at least like you a lot.)

I'd like to lose 30 pounds.
Wait. I already did this poost.
I'd like to be half the man that Beaks is. Only then will I be happy with who I am.

I don't remember that one, either.

I already have accomplished goal #1, which was quit smoking.

Now:

1. Eliminate fast food from my diet. Plan menus a week in advance and cook real food. Eventually eliminate all processed food and all meat save seafood and the occasional steak.

2. Write every day.

3. Play hockey once a week.

4. Be a better friend and son to the people I care about.

5. **** a dead deer in Wisconsin.

When you do the deer thing, how many states will you have left?

I'll have live and dead covered, but will still be missing liquid.

5.) I want to **** in at least five states this year. So far, I'm 20% done with my goal as I took a nice one at the NYE party tonight in Connecticut. Since I live in Rhode Island, I expect to be at 40% by the end of the week.

it's good to have goals....

For about the 5th straight year I'd like to gain 20-25 pounds. It hasn't worked to this point but I'll give it another shot.

I'd also like to finally settle down and have a steady girlfriend and then figure out what I'm doing after I graduate.

1. Continue with WW and try to become more physically active as well
2. Remember to appreciate every day how good my life is and never take it for granted
3. Tell JR every day how much I love him

And most importantly, try not to hate myself when I fail at any of these things. I want to pick myself up when I trip, forgive myself and try that much harder to get it right.

I just accomplished my goal in Rhode Island. Two states down, three to go. I'm going to a Celtics game in March so that should take care of Massachusetts. I just have to figure out which other two are going to win the right to host my fecal matter. :)

I don't believe in New Year's resolutions and I don't make them. I believe if you feel you need to make a change, you make it regardless of the date on the calendar.

I imagine it would really suck to get to a new state and be constipated.

- Lose 10-20 pounds/tone up.

- Make more of an effort to have a social life locally. The wallet really can't afford biweekly trips to the city two hours away.

- Keep in touch with family/friends, which, with me, is always a struggle.

- Don't push getting into a relationship, but don't shy away from it either.

- Save money for a new car.

I don't use public restrooms, so this would be a tough one.
