What are the words spoken at the start of each episode of 24?

Yeah, yeah ...

No, the thing about "the following action takes place in a single 24-hour period" or some such.

You can tell I don't watch much.

The following takes place between __ a.m./p.m. and __ a.m./p.m.

It used to say the events are in real time, but I think they got rid of that after the first season?

I think that's right if memory serves me.

Sounds correct to me. I think after the second a.m. / p.m. there is a beep or the clicking of the clock.

I've confirmed BR is correct. This was the first 24 clip on youtube. If you go to 30 seconds it says: The following takes place between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

Even though that was only in the first season, I still expect to hear it. It's kind of weird, considering how many more episodes I've seen without it.
