I’ve realized that once I hit 40 life starts moving so fast that what I used to think were lulls now seem like a couple of days.
So the Cheese League isn’t a thing anymore?Seems like I'd always notice the PGA Tour at Broadmoor, the Stableford event the week after the PGA Championship, while we were on vacation in August as a kid. It always told me school was right around the corner. Now when the Celebrity tournament ends at Tahoe in late August has the same feel. Players seem to head to training camps right after that.
Always thought it was kind of cool when teams practiced at small colleges in the hinterlands. Now only four do. Granted one of those teams is the Rams and LMU is in LA. The Colts hold their camp at a public park complex north of Indianapolis.
