CORONADO, Calif. - A man being chased by authorities grabbed a police dog and leaped off the San Diego-Coronado Bridge, taking the animal with him into the frigid ocean water 200 feet below.

The fall killed the dog. The fugitive survived and was hospitalized Tuesday.

And that idiot will be amazed at the punishment he will receive for doing that to the dog. I think it's just a shade below doing that to a human police officer.

Don't bother with the death penalty with this guy - if he survived jumping off the Coronado Bridge, the gas chamber would look like a walk in the park.

you know, you're right devil.

but 90 percent of the time, cop dogs and their handlers should just go **** themselves. for some reason our society allows cops to use these overaggressive ****ing dogs to maul petty thieves, guys with dime bags in their pockets and any person who has the balls to hide regardless of the severity of the crime.

if the dog was going to bite this guy, good for him for using it as a shield.
