My best friend in high school (driving his dad's car at the time) had TI 3VOM, which is MOVE IT in a rear-view mirror.

Yeah, I wasn't thrilled with the design myself. I grew up in Michigan...give me a nice metal blue plate with white letters please!SoCalScribe said:Wow, the new Ohio plates are terrible (not that the old ones weren't). Invest some money in your primary plate so it doesn't look like a spread from a digitally-illustrated children's book.
I am basically in rebellion since so many states started going to the flat, plastic plates over the last five years. Plastic plates for plastic cars, I guess.
For one, the lack of relief at certain angles and in certain light conditions makes it much harder for anyone to read plate numbers. Additionally, the combination of countless different specialty plate designs further complicate the difficulty in reading and recognizing plate numbers/letters. Public safety takes a back seat to celebrating 4-H or the state historical society or the Freemasons, I guess.
