I'm watching TV Land, nice little G-rated (Andy Griffith, Little House on the Prarie) cable channel and they run a promo for a show called "Myths and Legends," which will apparently deal with urban legends that have a TV connection.

One of the is the false story that Johnny Carson had a starlet on the Tonight Show, and she came on the set holding a cat on her lap. The false story goes that she said, "Would you like to pet my *****?" and Johnny said, "Sure, if you'll move than damn cat."

Not true at all, but a funny story.

Anyway, the show promo has some woman saying. "Would you like to pet my *****?" and I'm thinking the vaginal reference is just hanging there like a giant snotball in the midst of Mayberry and all this family-friendly programming.

Whatever would Aunt Bee think?

I remember watching Carson one time and some forgettable 80s starlet was talking about scuba diving in the nude in a coral reef in Australia or something.

Chevy Chase was a guest and told her to watch out for the bushfish, saying they liked dark, tight places or something.

She totally bought it.

She compared swatches with Floyd, so probably nothing...
