I have found him so unenjoyable, and so utterly unredeeming, that I can't even get worked up about the fact he has found success. He has his millions (if he indeed still has them) and has had no effect on me. I do find it to be a useful cultural barometer that I can dismiss people who like him, but that's about it.

He is changing his ways of the past, and—gasp!—becoming a mature adult male, one is who seeking a committed, long-term relationship, leading to marriage, with an intelligent, substantive, accomplished woman.

God bless the poor woman who falls for it, because her innermost personal and sexual secrets will be broadcast on the Internet soon enough.

I know who he is. I remember reading through some of the stories on his website 5 or 6 or 7 years ago. I saw his book with the empty face, but was never going to buy it. Funny thing was, I was drawn to his ability as a writer. His stories were amusing, but his story-telling ability was what impressed me. Even if he did come across as a narcisist.

Reading that interview? I started snoring half way through the first page. He's not that interesting in therapy. He had a shtick. He womanized, drank and treated women like crap. Then he wrote embellished adventure stories about his dalliances. Take that way, and . ... zzzzzzz.I don't want to read about his childhood and how it relates to his psychoanalysis. I can get that from all my neighbors, and it is just as uninteresting.

Tucker says one of the main focuses of his life now, aside from yoga, mixed martial arts training, and his dog Murphy, is psychoanalysis. He sees his psychoanalyst four times a week.

Holy balls. I hope the therapist is getting paid a huge sum, but I can scarcely think of anything more awful than listening to Tucker Max talk about himself and his mommy and daddy issues four times a week. Four!

I was on a work trip somewhere once, bored of my mind, and I sat in the bookstore and skimmed through Hope They Serve Beer in Hell. I'm pretty sure someone had linked some of his stories here on SJ a long time ago, so I was sort of familiar with it. I distinctly remember the one about a chick at a wedding getting linked here, back when he was just doing his website. Some of it was entertaining in a car crash/voyeur way. But the whole thing where he started to sleep with women because he was Tucker Max, like they read his nasty stories, and then sought him out to **** him, struck me as one of the most depressing things ever. Even as he was trying to write in a snarky, dismissive, arrogant sneer, it was obvious how sad and empty the whole thing was deep down for him. The fact that it played out this way is the least surprising thing ever.

I think the first time I remember seeing her was in early episodes of "Brothers and Sisters." She was Justin's girlfriend, best looking girl ever on that show.

I take Tucker for what he is...a frat boy asshole that found a way to make money being himself.

The guy liked to write about the trim he pulled in his 20s/early 30s. Good for him. He at least can spell and form a line of words better than the average college student. It's just his prose is booze and ***** and poop jokes.

I have bought every book he wrote and I find him hilarious.
