Opening night of high school football in the great state of Kansas.

[cueangelicHALLEUJAH!]

It also marks the beginning of my life ceasing to exist for nine months ... said alleged life reappearing after the state track meet in Wichita in late May.

Football started in force last night in Texas. Andrew Luck, son of former NFLer Oliver Luck and recent commit to Stanford, threw for two TDs and ran for another in his team's season opener.

Once he graduates, his team is going to be **** out of Luck.
Thank you.
I'll be here all season.

I just pray he's a better player than his dad, who, while something of a Houston notable, wasn't great during his Oilers days.

......And if he isn't as good as papa, would the team have lots of bad Luck?

Two games last night, but the gratis pizza shows up tonight at my shop!

Hope the pizza shows up quicker than your area's contribution to the state high school scorelist.

I'm on the western side of the state. Ulysses High will be pretty good again in 4A, along with Andale. Those two played the game of the year last season.

I do have a feeling I will be driving 90 miles tonight to broadcast a 62-6 drubbing.

Is it basketball season yet? I mean, you know, as excited as I am to watch our teams go a combined 8-1,192 ...

Problem with our basketball teams out here are.......they all ****ing suck.

Football can be entertaining to do, for the sole fact that they don't have any notion of how to play defense, and every game ends up 52-48.
