Tonight is Pride Night at the Rays game and the Florida AG said he would sue MLB if they discipline any players who do what Giants players did. People who claim to be Christians and use it as a shield for their reprehensible behavior suck. Maybe everyone doesn’t get into heaven. Maybe it’s like South Park where everybody goes to Hell

I believe in God. I don’t believe in organized religion. I grew up going to a Lutheran church where people sat for an hour a week thinking it cleansed them then went right back to themselves as soon as the service ended. You don’t find God in a building. I find God on my balcony in the morning when I look at the sunrise or on my walks to the beach.

I would be willing to bet if

I'd be willing to bet that even if MLB told teams NOT to ask players to wear special jerseys or caps for Pride Night, or that they participate in any way, these people would freak just as hard.
These protests and threads are not about faith. They're about homophobia.

And I’m sure that same Florida AG would pitch a fit if one of those players kneeled during the anthem.

I believe if you’re going to demand other people abide by Leviticus, you’d better damn well be keeping kosher yourself.

Performance art from the Trumpist klan. MLB didn’t discipline anyone re: Giants cap. It sent the offenders a note.

My niece recently had a business meeting with Pope Leo, and he gave her five sterling silver rosaries in these little embossed pouches, and told her to "give them to people in need" and so at lunch yesterday (I hadn't seen her in 3 years, she lives across the country) she gave one to me and lemme tell you, you can take the boy out of the Catholic Church but you can't fully get the Church out of the boy. I drove thru a dust storm on the way home.

That's pretty slick.
Not too many people get to say:
"Gotta go see the Pope today."

In a “business meeting,” no less.
That would be a pretty cool day planner

Monday:
10 a.m. Have meeting with supervisor
Noon: Lunch with Client A
3 p.m. Zoom meeting with Client B
4:30 p.m. Have group meeting to plan weekly meeting
Tuesday:
9 a.m.: Phone call to Client C
10:30 a.m. Write emails to Client D
1 p.m. Have meeting and prayer with Pope Leo
4 p.m. Send out dry cleaning
6 p.m. Do gym workout.

So, your niece thinks you are "in need?" I mean, ****, I'd take it. Not a huge rosary guy - I use the app - but still.

How deep in the till do you have to have your hands for Trump’s feds to coming crashing in the door of a hardcore MAGA darling preacher?

Any charges will be dropped shortly. Trumpist pseudo Christian “pastors” never have to pay for their sins. At least not in this life.

Yeah, just a little odd for this administration. Only thing I can think of is this cat worked himself a little too close into Stinky's corners.
