The thing I find weird about the case, is the idea that the cake is an integral part of a gay marriage ceremony. Nobody's asking this guy to be the officiant, or to sing a song or play a guitar. I'd say a florist might have a better case than a bakery. At least flowers are usually present when the vows are said. The cake isn't a part of it.
I think you know what I'm getting at. A cake is not integral to a marriage ceremony and usually not even a part of it. The baker's presence isn't even required. Would a travel agent be allowed to refuse to book a honeymoon?
