If it was snowing pretty hard was the number on the space even visible? Just asking.

He certainly knew which house to drop the note off at, but maybe he only figured it out after the fact. Certainly a **** move on his part, but if weather played a role here let it slide.

If it happens again have the ****er towed.

I'll buy you and your wife a beer when the guy comes back. Write down the license plate, call Tow Mater and enjoy the view from the big bay window in the living room. If the guy comes a knockin', call the police and have his note in hand -- it's a threat. The nice officer who comes will explain to Ricky Bobby that he better stand down. Or else. By now, the wife's a little tipsy. Enjoy.

Have it towed. But not before pissing on the door handle first.

Have had two people try to have my car towed at each of the apartments I lived at because I parked in 'their' spot.

Each time the tow truck guy came out, but I had the landlord there with me when they came. One neighbor even threatened to sue me, but backed off when my landlord said he would be evicted if he tried to take it court.

I'd contact the landlord, and let him know. At least, you'll have an official witness in case things break down from there.

I said this on another neighbor/parking thread months ago, but I'll tell the story again for those who missed it. Years ago, I lived in a townhouse complex in which the only reserved parking were for some handicapped people. Every other spot was up for grabs, first come, first serve.

One of my neighbors insisted that two of the spots were for him and his live-in girlfriend. Whenver anyone would park there, they would try to order them to move. The first time they asked me, I refused. They threated to go to the complex management. I told them to go right ahead.

The complex manager later told me that they came into her office yelling and screaming about me. The manager pretty much laughed them out of the office. I continued to park there when the spots were available. They even wrote the 'Don't park in my spot!" note on my windshield.

After that, I got every other neighbor to park their car in those two spots whenever they could. They tried to yell at the others, but we all told them to go 'F' themselves.

That was you? *******@!

Yep. Did you have fun walking the extra five feet from the other parking spots?

Very little progress yet. I had the visitor narrowed down to two houses. I went and knocked on the less likely one's door, and she confirmed it wasn't a friend of hers. Then I knocked on the other door twice yesterday before work with no answer. Come and get your whoopin', Steiner!

My wife has gotten over it after sleeping on it and wants me to not press the issue (she's still open to towing in the future, mind you). That may yet be the resolution, although I demand satisfaction.

Although I assume they were joking, I'm surprised six people voted for the "**** on his hood" option. As odd as that would be, I would laugh hysterically if I saw that.

I figured it was the closest thing to the time-honored SportsJournalists.com tradition of the upper deck.

I agree with your wife.
If it only happened once, let it go.

The parking has happened more than once. The note, just the one time.

I would definitely talk to the neighbors to give some warning. If the douchebag still parks in your spot, tow the ****er.

If his doors are unlocked, a cup of cat urine splashed around the inside of the car should do the trick.

That would freaking suck!

I think Carrie Underwood knows what to do to this piece of ****.

I'd definitely recommend calling a tow truck or reporting it to your landlord/manager.

If that ****er goes screaming because his car's been towed out of YOUR spot, let him get a very expensive lesson in etiquette.

This has nothing to do with the parking issue, except it's the same people. I went to get in my car today, and on the side that I share with the people the jerks were visiting, laying on the ground is the wrapper for a grape blunt wrap. (I should point out that the driver of the car that parks in that spot - and, presumably, the visitor - is a high school student who lives with his parents.) Not going to lie, I had half a mind to go and lay the wrapper on their stoop. But that would be the **** move to end all **** moves.

Totally should have done it. Could have just fallen there, you know.

Agreed. Kid's obviously not that bright to start.
