The "Funny Things I Overheard Today" Thread

At Whole Foods:

Clerk One: "Dude, you have no idea how many times I had to lie to my girl & tell her I was studying when I was really watching Battlestar."

Clerk 2: "Dude, I don't want to get between you & your girl."

Don't know why, but it made me laugh. The thought of the poor guy hiding his inner geakdom from his girlfriend.

What did you hear?

Co-worker read this out of a story and I laughed until I realized he was editing my review of a local pizza place.
