Survivor: Blood Vs. Water

I heard they had floated the idea of trying to reunite the original cast, but several of the players had no interest in coming back for various reasons. I can't imagine a 85-year-old Rudy coming back. Sue Hawk came to a legal settlement with the show after all-stars, I don't know if that would prevent her from coming back and Kelly, who finished second, has turned down the chance to come back before.

I also have to say I don't give a sh*t about Colton writing for a really terrible sitcom.
It's a CBs show, so I understand the plug, but it still annoyed me.

Here's a tip for CBS: The reason why that sitcom sucks is you're staffing the writers room with people whose CV consists of law school and game-show appearances.

Cochran, not Colton. Colton would last about a half-hour before getting fired. And I doubt the guy has much of a sense of humor either. Maybe he could script one of the Real Housewives shows. That drama sounds more up his alley.

I'm glad they brought back some of the medicals last year. A lot of people you thought were strong players, might have been, but being on until getting voted out allowed viewers to see that no, they probably wouldn't have won.
Best part of this season for me? No "Loved Ones" episode.
The loved ones were playing.

I know, but at least Probst didn't utter the cringe-worthy "Are you ready to get some love?"

Sad.

Agree on both counts, Buck.

On another note, I can't stand reading sentences such as, "News of Bankston's death has spread across the web, and has shaken the Survivor community, with a number of former contestants tweeting condolences."

A number of former contestants tweeting condolences hardly equates to leaving the Survivor community "shaken."

Wow. That sucks.

RIP to someone who deserved better.
This isn't to sound insensitive to a grieving person, but as much of a drama queen as his other half was on the show, I can only imagine his emotional state now.
