Coffee may cut the risk of dementia by blocking the damage cholesterol can inflict on the body, research suggests.

The drink has already been linked to a lower risk of Alzheimer's Disease, and a study by a US team for the Journal of Neuroinflammation may explain why.

A vital barrier between the brain and the main blood supply of rabbits fed a fat-rich diet was protected in those given a caffeine supplement.

UK experts said it was the "best evidence yet" of coffee's benefits.

I think this shows how little we really understand dementia or Alzheimers or similar diseases.

If this were true, my grandmother wouldn't be facing some form of dementia right now. Nor would my great aunt. My great aunt especially is a shell of herself mentally.

I keep waiting for the study that proves Baja Blast is good for you.

Happy for you, Excessive Java Man.

Baja Blast is Mountain Dew. Mountain Dew has a goodly amount of caffeine. Caffeine, as noted, is good for your brain.

Therefore, Baja Blast is good for you. :D
