Four states no longer allow drivers to smile in the driver's license picture.

C'mon, now. How many of us are smiling when the nice officer asks us for our license?

When I renewed mine, the guy said, "Okay on the count of one-one." I wrote it that way, because he didn't even take a breath or so much as pause between the ones. So in my picture I have this shocked look on my face he wouldn't retake it either. This was after a six hour wait at the DMV. I HATE the Geogrgia DMV.

I do. Sometimes I accidentally giggle too.

My driver's license picture looks like Beavis pushing out a 14 pound turd.

Ridiculous.

I remember going to the MVA once years and years ago. By that time, they'd had computer imaging of driver's licenses (and in my case, non-license IDs). The clerk made the observation that all my pictures looked different, but the clerk could tell it was me. Some of the times, I was smiling. Some of the times, I wasn't.
