No way anyone from the SEC West should make the NCAA Tournament. They're not the worst teams in the nation, but at the same time, they're not all that great.

Re: Southern Illinois, I still believe they should be a No. 3 seed. Which means a team like Duke that doesn't deserve such a high seed will get it.

I was thinking that. But I don't think Bradley gets in. Not at 21-12.

MVC will get three tops. No way Missouri State and Bradley both make it. My money would be on Missouri State, seeing as to how they got jobbed last year, when they the No. 21 RPI and failed to make the cut.

The Bears are 22-10, 12-6 and beat Wisconsin. I think they're in.

Maybe Gonzaga needs it if Santa Clara beats them tomorrow. I'm kind of hoping that happens, just because of the way they're handling the coaching situation, at least according to ESPN. If the coach was told to retire by the AD, then it'd be a great storyline to see how they weasel out of looking bad for forcing out a coach who takes his team to a title game.

Spnited, I know you're from the east and wouldn't know this.. but good lord, please do not call it Missou or Mizzou State. It might cause me to shoot myself in the head. It is MSU, Mo State, Missouri State.. hell.. you can call it "the ****head school in flyover country that no one cares about" as long as you don't call it Missou State.

That's what I usually call it, still. Sometimes Mo State, but usually it's still SMS to me.

I do think they're better than Mizzou in basketball right now. Of course, Mizzou will still have the same number of NCAA tournament wins as Kansas this year.

Also: Is Gonzaga (21-11, 68 RPI), out if it doesn't win the WCC Tourney? Despite its rep and history, that's a damn mediocre team.
