Saturday, July 21, NY/LI/NJSJ.com Get Together (de-facto 2007 outing)

After conferring with a respected poster, I have determined that get together of the various and sundry SportsJournalists.commers from New York, Long Island and New Jersey should be a priority.

I was thinking that on July 21th,The Perfect Pint, on 123 West 45th Street (between Sixth and Seventh Avenues), is a fine restaurant and watering hole for the gathering. It opens at 10:30 A.M., closing at 4 A.M. So there is plenty of time to tie one on. Maybe even tie two on. Okay, that's a terrible joke and I apologize.

Considering that there are some of us who work late nights, I figure that the bash can start around 3:30 P.M. until we can't stand.

I thought July 14 was a good date, simply because it is (A) a Saturday and (B) it allows posters enough time to work out their schedules.

I would be in, but the 14th is an awful day for me. I'm still trying to resolve the scheduling conflict I have on that day.

Wow. Another day that I have something scheduled. Although, I think that event ends around 6 or 7, which would mean I might be open in the evening. Should it occur, I would be arriving three-quarters in the bag.
