Jeff, I love you but here's where we disagree. They play 72 holes. Lowest score wins. Oglivy had +5. No one else was that "low." He beats.
Now, I understand your point. But he knew going into 18 that he was close to the top and that there was a chance. He was off the green on 18 and did one hell of a job getting up and down knowing he had NO chance if he didn't. Well, turns out he DID have a chance if he didn't but he didn't know that.
Not the same as standing over a putt that wins or loses but still. He got through the 72 better than anyone. He wins. Legitimately.
