Couldn't find another running golf thread. If I missed it, the mods can merge or something. Whatever...

Anyway....Tiger is 5 under through 4 holes today. Birds on 10, 11 and 13 with an eagle on the par 4 12th. Was tied for 95th after the first round. Now tied for 10th.

Steve Lowery, whoever the hell he is, shot 63 yesterday. You'd think Tiger would have a shot at that given his start today.

That stretch (12-14) at Warwick Hills is about as easy as it gets on Tour. If you want to win in Grand Blanc, you have to destroy those three holes. Two driveable Par 4s and an easy Par 5.

Yeah. I noticed the eagle came on a par 4 that was less than 400 yards. Still, a great start.

You think the raised eyebrows at the continuation of his form yesterday may have given him a little spur this morning?

Seems so.

Found the bunker on 15. String of birdies/eagles over.

15 and 18 are the only difficult holes on the back nine at Warwick. Get out of those two at even par, and attack the others.

If you have the flat stick going, you can eat that place up. Seems like El Tigre has figured that out this morning after not making anything all day yesterday.

Yeah. The pin placement was a little tricky on the 15th, tucked into the corner behind the right greenside bunker. Went for the pin, found the sand. Made par.

Also...this shot-tracker thing on PGATour.com ain't bad.

Don't sleep on the US Senior Open this week...great course at Crooked Stick, Greg Norman and a bunch of others tore it up yesterday but it should be set up pretty stout for the weekend.

Of all the things Tiger has done, he hasn't posted an official 59 (heard he's done it at Isleworth.) Maybe today...

Tiger makes bogey on 18, finishes his first nine holes in 30 stokes.

No shot at 59, just my opinion. I'm guessing 64 or 65. He's gotta cool off, right?

I think you're right about 59 being out of reach, but I don't think him ending up with a 62, maybe 61, is out of the question here.

You may be onto something. Tiger birdies No. 1

tiger went 72-61 (or something like that ... no research time) here a couple years ago. This is not new news for El Tigre.

I think the shot tracker is glitching up. He's been given a four on four, and there's no shot chart available.
