WARDE MANUEL: But Alabama will be protected, even with three losses. Even with a loss to Vanderbilt and a three-touchdown bed-****ter to Oklahoma.
And all God’s children said …. Roll Tide
Stew Virginia girl is very underrated. She deserves better than the greasy-haired dyslexic dweeb that ends up next to her.High Tide.
Anyone who ever doubted Bama would make the playoffs after what’s gone down the past two weeks hasn’t observed the CFB power structure over the past 2 decades.
I am reminded of the B10-SEC meeting after which one of the commissioners advised that the 2024 selections had better go “extraordinarily well” for his league.Anyone who ever doubted Bama would make the playoffs after what’s gone down the past two weeks hasn’t observed the CFB power structure over the past 2 decades.
Not to mention a “win” at Cal.It's clear Alabama's good wins hold more weight than its bad losses. Miami's entire resume is built on beating 8-4 Louisville and 7-5 Florida on the road. Oh, and let's not forget their "win" over Virginia Tech.
Notre Dame is a legit top-10 football team this season, and Alabama is probably among the top 12.
But don’t forget who’s really running the CFP — and that company needs the eyeballs a brand name team provides. So any time two teams are close in their qualifications, the bigger name gets the nod. Right now, no question it’s the Tide over the Canes.
Yeah, if you lose to a team like Northern Illinois, you’re out. Oh, wait … ;)Lane lost to ****ing Kentucky at home. You can afford losses in this format, but not THAT loss.
