Seriously though, after watching how their soccer fans act, it was completely unsurprising that the Mexico fans were throwing **** at the Canadians. At least nobody got hit with a bag of urine.

If Larry Walker and Matt Stairs were playing on that Canuckistani team they would have gone into the crowd or at worst ended up fighting each other after wiping the floor with the Mexicans.

Larry Walker is a coach for Canada and was almost hit in the head with a ball thrown by a fan in the stands.

Has there ever been talk of starting an MLB team in the Caribbean? Would probably work best in the Dominican considering 10% of MLB'ers are from there. Or maybe when the Cuban embargo ends we start a team there. Is it economically or logistically feasible?

Has there ever been talk of starting an MLB team in the Caribbean? Would probably work best in the Dominican considering 10% of MLB'ers are from there. Or maybe when the Cuban embargo ends we start a team there. Is it economically or logistically feasible?

One in the AL and one in the NL...I wouldn't see a problem with it. A flight down there would be just like flying cross-country. Flying to the DR would be a bit tougher, but teams can afford it.
