Rosters, schedules and tournament brackets have been announced.

Have at it.

Ticket prices are friggin' outrageous. I don't understand that. I'm still thinking about going to the second round at Petco, but seeing the prices has made me think twice.

Not too bad for a single game, but if you're looking to go for the six-game swing, you're looking at an arm and a leg.

Single-game is ridiculous too. At least from the official site.

Believe it or not, I can get 'em cheaper from StubHub.

I'll be at the Canada/US game at the Rogers Centre. Don't care about the price.

Joey Votto of the Reds is Canada's first baseman and is from my neighbourhood. Played HS ball with my eldest kid.

Check out the price for the finals at Dodger Stadium.

Insanity.

I didn't realize they were holding games at the Rogers Centre. I might have to take a drive up there for a game or two.

Most expensive seat for the Canada/US game is $59.00

Holy hell. Count me in, then.

This could be fun. I know my three sons will want to go.

For the Canada/US border people we could turn this into an unofficial SportsJournalists.com outing

I'm sure Huggy will be all over it.

Double J, if the snow's stopped by then could be counted on.

Hell, we might even get FoF to show up.

Hey I'll call round up some Sam's Army dudes and we'll jack this baby up like a World Cup qualifier.

;D

Seriously thought about heading to Toronto for a game or two, but couldn't get time off. Damn basketball tournaments and all.

Attended a US-Korea game at Anaheim Stadium last time around. A fun time, and wanted to say I went to the first one. Wanted to catch one of the Dodger Stadium games this time around.

The cheapest ticket is 45 bucks. No thanks.

Yep. That's what I'm talkin' about.

StubHub has the Petco games at $30 for cheapest, which is still outrageous but at least within my price range.

Might be worth the 90-minute drive, as far as I'm concerned. Just on the principle of Dodger Stadium seats in the pavilions costing 45 bucks instead of their usual eight.

Let me know and maybe we can meet up. We're probably going to go to one of the Sunday games at Petco (on 3/15), but not sure which one. I'll wait 'til it gets a little closer and we know who's playing in which one -- my hope is a Cuba vs. Korea/Japan matchup.

The sad part is there'll be people declaring the WBC a failure in the U.S. based on terrible attendance, when the only failure was the outlandish ticket pricing.

Bought four spring training tickets for my parents who plan on going to see the Tigers in Lakeland. Well they cancelled the trip and now I can't get rid of them. One pair sold this morning $3 per ticket. Six bucks total minus commission. $5.10.

So right now I'm looking at $77 loss. The ticket resale didn't even cover the $7 per ticket charge for using ticketmaster. ****ers.
