Did they announce who's playing SS for the US?

I'm sure it will be a combination of players. One or two guys per game. They surely won't stick with one player through the whole thing.

Every other position (that I noticed) seemd to have a clear starter. Rollins / Jeter seems like the only interesting one.

I'll be at the Canada/US game at the Rogers Centre. Don't care about the price.

Joey Votto of the Reds is Canada's first baseman and is from my neighbourhood. Played HS ball with my eldest kid.

I didn't realize they were holding games at the Rogers Centre. I might have to take a drive up there for a game or two.

Most expensive seat for the Canada/US game is $59.00

Holy hell. Count me in, then.

This could be fun. I know my three sons will want to go.

For the Canada/US border people we could turn this into an unofficial SportsJournalists.com outing

I'm sure Huggy will be all over it.

Double J, if the snow's stopped by then could be counted on.

Hell, we might even get FoF to show up.

I've looked into going to Canada-USA with Huggy Jr. Might be a game-time decision.

I am going to be in my car all day on Saturday and I was trying to find some info on whether these WBC games would be on the radio. After scoring the internet, including mlb.com, I came up with nothing. Just that the semis and finals are on ESPN Radio.

Took public transit from his parent's house for Friday's on-field session.

My kids used to play road hockey with Joey. Good kid.

Wow, Votto hit the **** out of that one.

Do his parents live in Brampton? That's news to me but if they do he won't be able to take the GO train home after the gamne. It doesn't run out that way on weekends.
