The sources said at least two games are under scrutiny: a 68-50 loss to Alabama on Feb. 7 and a 56-53 loss to Arkansas on Jan. 25.
Point shave FAIL.
You can shave points in losses too. IIRC, that's how some of the 40s/50s shaving scandals first broke -- teams who were single-digit dogs started losing game after game by 15+.
In fact, theoretically, it's probably easier for gamblers to "get to" players on mid-range mediocre teams. If you're gonna lose half your games anyway, is it really that big a deal if you lose some of them by 17 instead of 7??
