There's a Facebook group for everything, including grave robbing

A man in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania was arrested and faces 574 charges including burglary, abuse of corpse and criminal trespassing for a grave robbing spree. This story lays out a pretty fascinating timeline of the police investigation.
The cops were finding graves and mausoleums broken into for weeks, with various bits of evidence left behind. The big break in the case came when someone found a partially decomposed body in this guy's basement and tipped off the cops. When they started looking into him and his social media, it didn't take long to realize they'd found their man.

After receiving the tip about the remains found in Gerlach's home on Dec. 23, detectives began looking into him. They went through his purchases and phone accounts to tie Gerlach to the incidents and noticed him connected to strange accounts and transactions.
Police learned Gerlach's Facebook account was reportedly involved with a group called "Human Bones and Skull Selling," and Facebook messages within the group showed evidence of Gerlach's involvement in the suspected sale of human remains to other group members.
Detectives interviewed the tipster, who reported Gerlach's social media pages were filled with "taxidermy, oddities and skeleton collecting sites."
Gerlach's Instagram "following" revealed an abundance of accounts referencing skeleton collecting, bone museums and a "human skull store" as well, according to a police report.
Police also found Gerlach's CashApp profile included a picture of him holding a human skull.
