Every time I look at a house cat, I see a tiger in a tiny body, and I imagine the cat thought pattern being, "Don't kid yourself, I'd rip off your head and maul you to death right now if I wasn't so damned little."

If you don’t play with them when they’re kittens, they’ll go full feral. Then you have a litter of wild cats running around the farm. Great against mice, bad for songbirds. Coyote or fox will get one or two. The dogs will kill at least one. The rest will have to be ... dealt with.

Moral of the story: Don’t have cats. Dogs are better.
