I thought Cary Elwes got impaled by a tower in Twister 1996. He survived? ;)
Yes. Because unlike some other Robin Hoods, he could speak with an English accent.

I didn't realize he was on that show. I only watched a few episodes of it. My daughter loves it. She has watched it all the way through multiple times. I haven't had the chance to talk to her about Reiner yet. I'll have to bring it up to her that way.I decided to rewatch some episodes of New Girl (highly underrated sitcom, btw). Reiner plays Zoey Deschanel’s dad, and he just kills it in every appearance.
His scenes with Jake Johnson are incredible. They just play off each other so well. And Reiner’s humor is so effortless.
Any rational person would not have voted for Drumpf.Any rational person would have fired the entire Communications staff before Inauguration Day was over.
So true.Any rational person would not have voted for Drumpf.
Nah, man, go back and watch. The only thing that hasn’t aged well is that Archie Bunker is somehow a tamer version of what many in this country are now. People who talk about Michelle Obama looking like a man, people eating cats and dogs and people deciding that bringing back “gay” and “retard” is just fine.
What hasn’t aged well is us.
Both things can be true.Nah, man, go back and watch.
People give the show credit for tackling issues you didn't see on TV, which it did. They did a rape episode, which was unheard of. The episode was about how hilarious it was that someone would want to rape someone old and ugly like Edith. (She eventually hits the rapist on the head with a frying pan and everyone has a good laugh.)

She didn’t hit him with a pan.I’ve see those episodes (it’s a two-parter) and when they were filming it, apparently the studio audience was ready to storm the stage because they were so angry that their Edith was being assaulted. When she did hit him with the pan and escaped, they apparently had to stop the show for a few minutes because the studio audience wouldn’t stop cheering.
The actor who portrayed the rapist had to deal with angry fans for years afterward because the assault was real to them, dammit.
It's always striking to realize when the show started Jean Stapleton was 48 --- or eight years younger than Jennifer Anniston today. The episode was about how hilarious it was that someone would want to rape someone old and ugly like Edith
I thought they played the rape episode seriously. I guess I misremembered it.
