A local TV news station just had this tease: "...and at 11, the latest news on Patrick Swayze."

Just say he died, for chrissakes. I really hate local TV news.

Because if they said he died, people wouldn't tune in to find out what happened to him.
That's why it's called a tease.

I know that depressurization and altitude sickness are what Swayze asserted, but I was under the impression that open containers of alcohol were found in the plane (by the construction workers). And Swayze went to a hotel for several hours to sober up before contacting the police. I know he battled with alcohol in the past...

But perhaps now is not be the best time for this particular discussion.

No better time than now...the eyewitnesses WHO I INTERVIEWED described the scene...and they took him to a hotel to sober up. They proved beyond a doubt they took him to a hotel...and in fact, they were arrested for doing just that!

No matter that, at age 34, Patrick was 14 years too old to have legitimately been the captain of the Hamilton Mustangs - he was great in that movie, and in everything else he ever did.

RIP, Patrick. You fought a hell of a fight, and you're leaving behind a wonderful legacy. We'll miss you. :'(
