Speaking as someone who briefly worked for one of Flynt's competitors, the second-best part of Hustler -- and best illustration -- was the Asshole of the Month award, which twice went to Phyllis Schlafly.
 
The ambush in Lawrenceville happened nearly 43 years ago. Perhaps they've renumbered the buildings, but the restaurant Flynt and his lawyer were eating at on South Perry Street doesn't exist on Google maps. There's a State Farm insurance agent, an empty lot and then a law office. We lived in Lawrenceville for nearly six years and I've been on that street a few times.

There ought to be a monument, or at least a naked sculpture.

No idea how close to, or far from, the truth it is, but People vs. Larry Flynt is an excellent movie.
